Sinkhole Claims Appraisal

When there is a dispute over the amount of the loss, either party has the right to invoke the appraisal portion of the insurance policy. At that point, damage calculation experts will review reports and visit the property in order to calculate the damage caused by the sinkhole activity. If the two experts cannot agree on a damage estimate, a third appraiser will be called upon estimate the damage to the property. If two out of three can agree on an estimated cost of repairs, appraisal award will be entered for that amount of damages.
